Michael Hewlett

Bio

Michael Hewlett started coaching Linebackers at Potomac High School in Oxon Hill, MD in 2011. In 2017 he was the McDonough Rams Head JV football coach where they won more games than they had in the last 18 years according to MaxPreps finishing with a 6-3 record. In 2019 after COVID year he coached at Riverdale Baptist as the Run Game/Pass Game Coordinator and SpecialTeams Coordinator. In 2020, he coached at Rock Creek Christian Academy as an Offensive Line Coach competing against national/ranked High School teams. In 2023 he became the Head Varsity Football Coach at La Plata High School winning more games than they had in the last 3 years in the first year, and finishing with 100% of seniors receiving an athletic scholarship. In 2025 he founded Hewlett Sports Academy, finishing year one competing against nationally ranked teams. In the first year HSA players have garnished over 5 Division 1 offers, and 80% of seniors received an athletic scholarship/opportunity to player collegiately.
